The super shallow air flotation process is an innovative breakthrough compared to the conventional dissolved air flotation technology in terms of effectiveness in removing suspended solids, grease, and wastewater color.

During the flotation process, water is pumped into the flotation tank under high pressure, where air is also introduced via a compressor. This results in saturating the pressurized water with air.

The air-saturated water stream is then recycled to the flotation compartment of the tank through a pressure reduction valve which approaches the atmospheric pressure, resulting in air being released in form of tiny bubbles. Those bubbles attach to the suspended solids, increasing their buoyancy and causing them to float to the surface of water where they are removed by a skimming device.

With over 20 years of experience in the field of environment, ASIATECH has successfully applied the Super shallow air flotation process in many wastewater treatment projects of different industries from manufacturing, coffee processing, food processing, aquaculture, etc, all of which have achieved outstanding efficiency in accordance with the effluent regulations and helped reduce operation cost.
